I live in a house filled with laughter. We can't help it. Things just always seem funny.
My wife Kalie is a singer/songwriter, so there's always music in the air. She's a sculptor too, so broken exhaust pipes or stray pieces of plumbing are never far from reach. She's also becoming a Drama Therapist - so let's just say we've got no shortage of puppets solving problems in our house.
Our son, Zach is an amazing artist who loves drawing cartoons and laughing at comic strips like "Pears Before Swine" and "Dilbert". He loves to read, make animations, draw comics and thinks DOCTOR WHO and LOST are the greatest TV shows ever (and FAMILY GUY, THE SIMPSONS, ROBOT CHICKEN, etc...).
We have 2 pets. Spikey is a uromastyx, which is a cool kind of lizard. And then there's Zeus, the best dog in the world who has finally gotten to the point where we can go to movies without coming home to find "surprises".

Writing is a pretty lonely job. You sit and stare and then get up and grab a snack. Then you sit and stare again. I am lucky to have these people I call family in my life. They make the staring worth it. And sometimes they make cookies too!
